Quito, Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad

QUITO, LA CAPITAL

La UNESCO declaró a Quito, como la primera Ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad. El centro histórico ha sido conservado como en su época colonial y por ello, es considerado como el más grande de América.Podríamos decir que su valor radica en que la historia de la ciudad está impresa en cada una de sus paredes, calles y plazas.

Every day of the year in Quito, we have the four seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter and How could this be true?
For quiteños it is like this:
- Early in the morning it's Spring, as it is not so hot, not so cold.
- At noon it's Summer, the sun is incredibly strong
- In the afternoon it's Fall as it starts with a little wind and a sunny day.
- And in the evening it's Winter, as it starts getting very cold (not as in a real Winter of course)
As Quito is 2,800 m above sea level, the temperature changes in a 24-hour period.
